The frog queens favorite subject Halloween and/or scary stuff!
I am going to go out on a limb and speak for the whole Davis Graveyard crew.....of course, Addams Family!!!!....I mean who does not want to be Morticia (okay, Lilly Munster was pretty cool too, but if I had to choose....Morticia wins....hands down) or Gomez.
And John Astin....oh my! Frighteners! Years and years after The Addams Family, Peter Jackson tapped him for the lead ghost in his (underrated) movie. Of course!!
And then there is him at Edgar Allan Poe in - Once Upon Midnight. The man is a icon in my book for that alone!! (Which I have not seen, but I hear is fascinating. John, please come to Portland!!!)
His dedication to the horror/Halloween genre, makes him my choice.

Honestly.... Jeff and I resemble Lilly and Herman....but, in our hearts, we want to be Gomez and Morticia

And Jeanne, The Candy Corn Chronicles is fabulous. Where have you been all my life?
Addams Family. Hands down. Munsters is great. Watch the dvd's a lot. But Addams Family edges them out in every category but theme. Morticia, to be specific Carolyn Jones' Morticia, has been a crush of mine since I was a kid. Gorgeous, alluring, sophisticated, matriarchal, yet willing to make frog noises. When I was a kid I used to hide bubble gum cigars in the house so I could pull them out like Gomez.

I'm with The Munsters all the way. I don't know I just always enjoyed that show a lot more than The Addams Family. I just love Fred Gwynne! Not to mention The Munsters have an awesome set of wheels!

ps: i would like to bend knee at this time to raul julia (may his soul at this very moment be enjoying incomprehensible bliss along with plenty of hanky panky) and the incomparable, remarkable, indescribably beautiful: anjelica huston.
